Bookkeeping and Record Keeping

Many business find it more cost effective to have the records and books of the business prepared by us.  This is particularly true where there are no administrative staff employed or involved in the business.  We will normally ask that you send us paperwork once a month, we then enter your records in bookkeeping software and send you reports on how the business is doing, on a regular basis.   Your annual accounts are simpler (and cost less) as we have prepared the books for you.

My name is Alex Goldsmith, i live in Lowestoft and i’m a self-employed painter and decorator and have been for the last 10 years working the Southwold/Lowestoft/Halesworth area. Whilst moaning at work today about my accountant a fellow decorator, Colin Kett, mentioned that i should look to contact you. I employed my accountants services based on the fact that he would do my books regularly/monthly which for the 1st year was great, however 4 years later promises have slipped but i’m still paying monthly, submitting my books to him in April but still find myself dealing with a panic come January. I just don’t like surprises, who does i guess? so when i found out my tax bill was £4k short last year due to my increased work load i think things would have been a lot better had my accounts been regularly evaluated. Anyway, sorry to moan on about it, i just feel it possibly a time for change. Would you be interested in meeting for a chat?
    All the best,
    Alex (01502 806807)
